IPO’s European Practice Committee is organizing its annual May meeting in Paris this year on May 18 at the Marriott Champs Elysées. The theme of this conference is: “Now that we’ve got IP, what are we going to do with it?”. Speakers will explore topics such as: IP strategies for the U.S. and Europe, the current status of the Unitary Patent, the “pemetrexed” decisions in UK and Germany, how recent FRAND decisions affect licensing and what impact the UPC will have on licensing, and preliminary injunctions. Cyra Nargolwalla is the Chair of the organizing committee and will also be moderating a panel of distinguished speakers on the subject of preliminary injunctions.
