Cécile Descamps has been a French & European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP’s Paris office since 2022. She advises clients primarily in the fields of construction and civil engineering, transportation, energy storage and industrial processes.
With 25 years of experience in intellectual property firms, Cécile has developed extensive expertise in patent matters, covering the drafting and filing of patent applications in France, Europe and internationally, as well as prosecution, opposition proceedings, patent infringement litigation, mediation and strategic IP studies, including patentability, freedom-to-operate and patent data analysis. Cécile is actively involved in the training and development of patent engineers and also supervises the team dedicated to patent searches and patent data analysis.
She is also actively involved in the initial and continuing training of French Patent and Trademark Attorneys and European Patent Attorneys, both at Plasseraud IP and within the CNCPI.
