Étienne Lallias is a French & European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. He advises a diverse range of start-ups and large corporations on the building and management of their patent portfolios, the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, and the conduct of freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses. He assists clients in the development and implementation of intellectual property strategies.
With a general engineering background from IMT Atlantique, Étienne has developed expertise in the field of computer-implemented inventions, as well as in quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Actively involved in the development of the profession, he is a member of the Patent Commission of the CNCPI.
After starting his career at Plasseraud IP in 2016, he broadened his experience through four years in a leading Paris-based firm before rejoining Plasseraud IP in 2025.
