Philippe Picard

Philippe Picard is a Partner and a professional representative before the EUIPO ans a French Trademark and Design Attorney and at Plasseraud IP. He works with clients in the sports, transportation, and agri-food sectors on the protection strategy of their intangible assets, the management and defense of their trademarks, designs and domain names portfolio. He also assists several Japanese companies in the acquisition and defense of their rights in France and in the European Union. He was a member of the examination board for the professional qualification of French patent attorneys, specialized in trademarks and designs. Philippe also actively participates in the life of the IP profession, at a national level as a member of the Trademark and Geographical Indications Committee and as co-chairman of the Relations with IP offices Committee of the Compagnie Nationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle (CNCPI) and at an international level, within the ECTA, of which he is a member of the Law Committee. Since January 2023, Philippe has become President of the AFPPI. Philippe joined Plasseraud IP in 2018 and became a partner in 2023.
