Atsuya Takeshita

Atsuya Takeshita is a Partner and a Japanese Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. 

He is Head of the Japan Team in Paris since 2009 and advises Japanese clients in their patent filing procedures and all IP matter related to European bodies. 

He has a degree of the aeronautics and astronautics of the University of Tokyo and started his career as an engineer and project manager in the space industry, such as International Space Station by NASA/JAXA. He continued in the business sector at the Mitsubishi Corporation before moving on to the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) where he worked on foreign patent procedures and technology transfers.

Atsuya joined Plasseraud IP in 2009 and was appointed partner in 2025.
