Louis Lavigne

Louis Lavigne is a French and European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP.
He advises clients across a broad range of technologies, including information and communication technologies (ICT), software, artificial intelligence, medical devices (MedTech), optics, and electronics. He also handles matters relating to software copyright protection and originality.
At Plasseraud IP, Louis is involved in the development of new AI-driven intellectual property services, particularly in the areas of strategic decision support, patent portfolio management, and infringement detection. He is also a lecturer for the IEEPI, where he provides training on intellectual property issues relating to medical devices.
After an initial experience in R&D, Louis joined Plasseraud IP in 2024. He has also completed a secondment within industry, which enabled him to develop a practical approach to intellectual property that is closely aligned with the industrial and commercial challenges faced by his clients.
