Denis Bourgarel

Denis Bourgarel is Partner and Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. He is active in the fields of biotechnology, pharmacy and biochemistry, particularly in the field of Proprietary Variety Protection Certificate (PVPC). Prior to joining Plasseraud IP in 2010, he worked in consulting as a patent attorney in a Paris office from 2000 to 2004. He then spent six years in the patent department of Novartis, where he managed a portfolio of patents for biological molecules in the development phase (antibodies and other therapeutic proteins). Denis Bourgarel is an agronomist and wrote a thesis in molecular biology.
