Carole Sellin

Carole Sellin is a Partner and Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. Her activity is mainly devoted to patents in the field of life sciences, genetic and molecular engineering, and the plant world. Carole works for major universities, foreign pharmaceutical companies, and well-known French companies. She has taken part in numerous oral proceedings and oppositions before the EPO. She also advises patent holders in the field of Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs). She is a member of AIPPI and GRAPI. Carole joined EGYP, a Plasseraud IP Group company, in 2000.
 

Anne Desaix

Anne Desaix is a Partner and Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. Her work mainly focuses on patents in the field of life sciences. She represents major French and international research laboratories and innovative SMEs. She has an extensive expertise in long-term protection strategies and constitution of patent portfolios in pioneering technologies. She also advises patent holders in the field of Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPC). Anne has acquired a great wealth of experience in handling complex proceedings before the EPO and before the French courts.

Ina Schreiber

Ina Schreiber is a Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP where she became a Partner in 2012. After her university studies, she started her career in the IP department of Peugeot. Ina intervenes in the preparation and the obtaining of patents as well as in disputes in the fields of chemistry, materials, pharmaceuticals and agribusiness. Ina worked for 8 years in the Lille office of Plasseraud IP and has thus acquired a great experience in supporting companies with little or no in-house intellectual property expertise.

Nathalie Wajs

Nathalie is a Partner and a Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. She works on cases relating to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, polymers, petrochemicals and catalysis for individuals, companies and research institutes. With more than 15 years of experience in intellectual property, she advises individuals, large groups and research institutes in the development and management of their patent portfolios: patent applications, granting procedures, legal advice (freedom to operate, audit of IP portfolios) and valuation, in the chemical sectors.

Catherine Touati

Catherine Touati is a Partner and a Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. She is involved in the fields of chemistry, cosmetics, food processing, and more specifically in pharmaceuticals and phytopharmacy. She deals with case files, conducts freedom of operation studies and manages litigation files. She has developed a particular expertise in Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPC) and Plant Variety Rights (PVR). She joined Plasseraud IP in 1996, after a first four-year experience in an IP law firm, where she trained in patent and trademark law. She became a Partner in 2011.

Frédéric Niemann

Frédéric Niemann is a Partner and Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. He is active in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemistry and medtech. He was an examiner at the European Patent Office from 2000 to 2005 (in The Hague). He was specialized in the fields of biotechnology (gene therapy, vaccines, and diagnostics). Frédéric joined Plasseraud IP in 2005.

Raphaël Fleurance

Raphaël Fleurance is a Partner and Head of the Lyon office at Plasseraud IP. He is a French and European Patent and Trademark Attorney. He works in the areas of chemistry, physics and medtech, for the drafting, prosecution and defense of patents, trademarks and designs, as well as IP contracts. He began his career in the Direction Générale de l’Armement for a year. Then, he moved to the IP department of Salomon (sport equipments) in 1986/1987 and afterwards he worked for three years at the IP department of Roquette Frères, a leading multinational firm in the agrochemical industry.

Cyra Nargolwalla

Cyra Nargolwalla is a member of Plasseraud IP's Executive Committee. She began her career in IP at Plasseraud IP in 1994, and became a Partner in 2004. She specializes in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals (including vaccines, hormone therapy and cancer treatment), as well as in the textile, paper and food industries. She regularly represents clients in oral opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO. She also handles litigation files for French and foreign clients. She regularly lectures on subjects relating to biotechnology/pharmaceutical patents and litigation.

Nadine Rocaboy

Nadine Rocaboy is a Partner at Plasseraud IP since 2018. 

She assists SMEs, multinationals and research institutes in the development and management of their patent portfolio, in particular in chemistry and pharmaceuticals. 

She has a long experience before the European Patent Office including oral proceedings, opposition and appeal proceedings and assists clients in patent litigation. 

She founded Plasseraud IP Start-up to support young entrepreneurs in their IP strategy and the filing of their patents.
