Plasseraud IP sponsors the 12th European Committee Conference organized by the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO)
On June 25, 2025, under the theme “Intellectual Property Developments in a Changing World,” the conference addresses the key legal trends and developments shaping the future of intellectual property, including:
- AI trends and developments
- Discovery/Seizure
- Developments at the EPO and in the EU
- Extraterritoriality and injunctions
Laurence Loumes, European & French Patent Attorney, UPC Representative, and Qualified US & Canadian Patent Agent at Plasseraud IP, participated in a panel moderated by Dr. Aloys Hüttermann (Michalski · Hüttermann & Partner mbB), alongside Dr. Matthias Hülsewig (Preu Bohlig & Partner) and Ben Quarmby (MoloLamken LLP), on the topic: “Discovery and seizure: comparative perspectives between the United States, France, and the JUB.”
Since 1972, the IPO has brought together more than 125 companies from over 30 countries to develop legislation, address emerging intellectual property challenges, and promote global awareness of intellectual property rights. As a long-standing contributor to the European IPO Practices Committee, Plasseraud IP actively supports the harmonization of intellectual property laws and the exchange of best practices between jurisdictions.
