Plasseraud IP at the forefront of global IP - Join us in Yokohama for AIPPI World Congress 2025

Guylène Kiesel Le Cosquer, Laurence Loumes, Atsuya Takeshita, Atom Tong, Partners, Isabelle Labarre, European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP, and Jean-Christophe Guerrini, Partner at Plasseraud IP Avocats, are attending the World Congress of the Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), to be held in Yokohama from 13 to 16 September 2025.

A true highlight of the year for IP professionals, the AIPPI Congress brings together thousands of experts: lawyers, IP attorneys, in-house counsel, academics and institutional representatives, from all over the world. Over four days, panels, workshops and networking sessions provide an opportunity to delve into legislative, case law and strategic developments, and to debate the key global challenges facing intellectual property.

The 2025 edition will spotlight major issues in IP: artificial intelligence and copyright, pharma and biosimilar litigation, recent UPC decisions and patent strategies, as well as new trademark challenges such as influencers, the rise of dupes, and non-traditional trademarks. The gaming and metaverse sectors will also feature prominently.

As active members of the French Group of AIPPI, our experts are committed to contributing to international discussions and representing the perspective of French practitioners in the association’s work.

We look forward to meeting you in Yokohama: come and connect with us!
