Looking back at the UN Citiverse Challenge 2025
Plasseraud IP took part in the inaugural UN Citiverse Challenge, organized by the United Nations and World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO, among others, designed to support innovative start-ups in the digital and emerging technologies sector, building AI-driven solutions.
The mission is to help international start-ups place intellectual property at the center of their growth strategy, as a key enabler for competitiveness and long-term success.
Our experts Laura Nguyen (patent attorney - IT, telecom, AI), Valeria Fassio (patent attorney - IT, telecom, AI), Alexandre Ribeiro Dias (patent attorney - IT, telecom, AI) and Iskander Turki (jurist - internet & data) had the privilege to mentor start-ups during one-to-one consultations on August 11–12.
These inspiring discussions were a unique opportunity to share practical insights on protecting innovations, anticipating challenges, and leveraging IP as a strategic asset.
Many thanks to the organizers for their trust, and congratulations to all start-ups for their creativity, ambition, and impactful projects!
