Plasseraud IP at French Tech Toulouse’s Summer Tech Day

On 30 June, Plasseraud IP took part in Summer Tech Day, an event organised by French Tech Toulouse, bringing together entrepreneurs, start-ups, investors and innovation stakeholders to discuss the key challenges facing the technology ecosystem.

On this occasion, Alexandre Ribeiro Dias, Head of the Toulouse office, Industrial Property Attorney and Professional Representative before the European Patent Office, together with Laura Nguyen, Industrial Property Attorney and Professional Representative before the European Patent Office, led a workshop entitled:

"To patent or not to patent? Best practices for protecting your innovations"

This discussion addressed key issues relating to the protection of innovations, patent filing strategies and the monetisation of intangible assets within the context of the development of innovative businesses.

Nathalie Pacaud, Partner and Head of the ‘Origin’ and ‘Quality’ practice areas, Industrial Property Attorney and European Trademark, Design and Model Attorney, along with Mathilde Augot, Industrial Property Attorney and European Trademark, Design and Model Attorney, were also present at the event.

This participation forms part of the long-standing partnership between Plasseraud IP and French Tech Toulouse. Being at the heart of this innovation ecosystem enables our teams to engage with start-ups from the very earliest stages of their projects and to support them in protecting, securing and maximising the value of their innovations.

French Tech Toulouse plays a major role in supporting innovation by bringing together stakeholders from the worlds of entrepreneurship, finance and specialist expertise to support the emergence and development of the innovative businesses of tomorrow.
