Recap of our Workshop for Korean Start-ups, in Partnership with FKCCI and KISED
While the innovation world gathered in Paris for Viva Technology 2025, Plasseraud IP had the pleasure of hosting 17 Korean start-ups at our Paris offices for a dedicated workshop on Intellectual Property (IP), organized in collaboration with the FKCCI (French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and KISED (Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development).
This special session focused on the strategic role of IP as a key driver for business growth, protection, and successful expansion into the European market. Our experts Nadine Rocaboy, Partner and Head of Plasseraud IP Start-up, Seowon Park, Head of the Korea Team, and Wendy Lam, French and European Trademark & Design Attorney, shared practical insights on how IP helps start-ups scale, secure innovation, and create value.
We were also honored to welcome three inspiring guest speakers:
- Aurore Bouteille, founder of Kahng, who spoke on how to succeed in Europe;
- Haïkel Balti, founder of Faircraft, who shared his entrepreneurial journey and explained how IP supported the growth of his business;
- Mortimer Pignon, Head of International Collaborative Innovation at Bpifrance, who presented “Tech cooperation in France as a gateway to Europe’s market.”
Our sincere thanks go to our partners - Clément Metharam (KISED), and Sangmin Kim, Sonia Chaïeb, Tristan Zuliani, and Sunju Moon (FKCCI) - for their valued support and collaboration.
And of course, thank you to all participating start-ups for their energy, curiosity, and the richness of our exchanges. We look forward to welcoming more start-ups soon for more events focused on innovation and international cooperation!
