Park Seowon

Seowon Park is a Partner and a Korean IP Attorney within Plasseraud IP. 

Head of Korea Team, she is a graduate of Yonsei University in Korea, where she studied biology. She began her career in a Korean intellectual property law firm where she was responsible for prosecutions and appeals in the fields of chemistry, pharmacy and biology. 

She also has several years of experience as an IP expert in public organisations and as an IP leader in the chemical industry. 

She joined Plasseraud IP in 2017 and was appointed partner in 2025.

Albert Hassine

Albert Hassine is a partner and Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP. He specializes in software protection with applications as varied as telecommunications, image processing and bioinformatics. He also gives training courses on software protection in Europe (patentability, copyright, licensing of "free" software). Albert Hassine started in IP in 1996.

Laurence Loumes

Laurence Loumes is a Partner and a French and European Patent Attorney at Plasseraud IP.

She spent 14 years in the United States and Canada before joining Plasseraud IP, where she practiced as both a U.S. and Canadian patent agent. Laurence has nearly 20 years of experience in patent drafting, prosecution, and litigation.

Durville Guillaume

Guillaume Durville is a European Patent Attorney based in Madrid. Guillaume specializes in computer science, telecommunications, mechanics and electricity. Guillaume has had diverse work experiences in IP practice. Prior to joining Plasseraud IP, Guillaume practiced at a large Spanish IP firm, led the global in-house patent department of a large IT multinational based in California, worked as a European Patent Examiner in The Hague in the field of electromechanics, and trained as an in-house patent attorney in the consumer goods industry.

Burbaud Éric

Eric Burbaud is a Partner at Plasseraud IP. He joined the firm in 1993, where he became a Partner in 2000. He mainly works in the fields of mechanics, physics, electricity and electronics (in particular in automotive, consumer products, medical imaging, airo space, IOT, telecommunications, luxury, advertising industry) as well as in the field of preparation and obtaining of patents, litigation and contracts.

Ina Schreiber

Ina Schreiber is a Partner and Head of Patent Department at Plasseraud IP since 2012. After her university studies, Ina Schreiber started her career in the IP department of Peugeot before joining Plasseraud IP in 2004. Ina intervenes in the preparation and the obtaining of patents as well as in disputes in the domains of chemistry, materials, pharmaceuticals and agribusiness. Ina worked for 8 years in the Lille office of Plasseraud IP and has thus acquired a great experience in supporting companies with little or no in-house intellectual property expertise.

Charlotte Leleu

Charlotte Leleu is a Partner and IT Patent Practice Group Leader at Plasseraud IP. She is a French and European Patent Attorney. Charlotte advises clients on the protection and defense of their patent portfolio, as well as on the definition and implementation of intellectual property strategies. With a strong background in applied mathematics and computer-implemented inventions, she has developed particular expertise in the field of “Big Data” and Artificial Intelligence.

Atom Tong Xi Jun

Atom Tong is a Partner at Plasseraud IP. He is a dually qualified Chinese and European Patent Attorney, as well as a UPC Representative. 

He plays a key role in the business development strategy for the Chinese market, alongside his technical responsibilities. 

He received his LL.M. Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property from Shanghai University, a post-graduate program in Intellectual Property Rights, the first IP Education Program in China. 

Denis Bourgarel

Denis Bourgarel is Partner and Life Sciences Patent Practice Group Leader at Plasseraud IP. He is active in the fields of biotechnology, pharmacy and biochemistry, particularly in the field of Proprietary Variety Protection Certificate (PVPC). Prior to joining Plasseraud IP in 2010, he worked in consulting as a patent attorney in a Paris office from 2000 to 2004. He then spent six years in the patent department of Novartis, where he managed a portfolio of patents for biological molecules in the development phase (antibodies and other therapeutic proteins).

Catherine Touati

Catherine Touati is a Patent Attorney and a Partner at Plasseraud IP. She is involved in the fields of chemistry, cosmetics, food processing, and more specifically in pharmacy and phytopharmacy. She deals with case files, conducts freedom of operation studies and manages litigation files. She has developed a particular expertise in Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPC) and Plant Variety Rights (PVR). She joined Plasseraud IP in 1996, after a first four-year experience in an IP law firm, where she trained in patent and trademark law. She became a Partner in 2011.
